Focus on sustainability

Climate change, globalisation, a growing world population and digitalisation have global effects. Everywhere in the world there is a need for knowledge and highly educated people who can contribute in finding solutions to problems in the field of preservation and sustainable use of land and water, biodiversity, food security and the transfer to a bio-based economy.

Van Hall Larenstein wishes and is able to contribute to this approach from its position as university of applied sciences in the 'green' domain, with multiple locations and an international network. The study programmes, research and operational management are greatly focused on taking sustainable steps.
