APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Dutch and German students

Dutch students should visit the Aanmelden en inschrijven page for details about the enrolment procedure. If you are from Germany, you might also want to head straight for the German website of Van Hall Larenstein University.

European (EEA) students

The EEA includes all members of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom), plus Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Non-European students 

If you do not hold a passport from one of the countries listed above, then you count as a non-European student, and must pay international student tuition fees. The exception are students from Surinam, who pay the same tuition fee as Dutch students.

Special situations

  • If you are married to or otherwise family-related to an EEA citizen living in The Netherlands, you might be allowed to pay the European student tuition fee. You will need to prove your relationship by presenting official documents.
  • Turkish applicants may be eligible to pay the EU tuition fee, please contact enrol@vhluniversity.com
  • Students who want to apply for the Master of Innovative Dairy Chain Management (MSc), please contact enrol@vhluniversity.com
