Conditionally admitted

Once a complete application (including all necessary documents) has been received, the Van Hall Larenstein University admittance committee will assess your eligibility. The admittance committee will decide whether:

  • You are not eligible to enter the study programme: the university will send you a letter to inform you about this and the reasons why you could not be admitted.
  • You are conditionally admitted.

In case of a positive assessment of your application, you will receive an official Letter of Conditional Admittance and/or email, confirming that you either fulfil all the requirements or you still have to fulfil certain conditions, and have been conditionally admitted.

Final admittance

The next step for you is to transfer the tuition fee. Your admittance becomes final when Van Hall Larenstein University has received the tuition fee from you, your sponsor or your scholarship provider, and you have fulfilled any remaining admittance conditions. The details of the university's bank account are stated in the Letter of Conditional Admittance you received. Please make sure you transfer the tuition fee before 30 August 2018.

Upon receipt of the payment, your admission becomes final and we will send you a definite Letter of Admittance to confirm this.

After you have been fully admitted, you can start making arrangements to travel to the Netherlands and Van Hall Larenstein University. Please notify your contact person about your travel arrangements and your date of arrival at the university.

You will receive an e-mail from the university with a link to a webpage where you find all practical information that you need (information about your schedule, book list, facilities etc.).
