If you have some spare time and would like to make some extra money to pay for necessities or fun things, you can always try to find a temporary job. There are all kinds of jobs available for students through temping agencies, and it can be a great way of meeting people and getting to know the Dutch and the Dutch society even better!

Non-EU students can work a maximum of 10 hours a week during the academic year, or work fulltime in the months of June, July and August. EU/EEA students can work fulltime.

You will need a bank account to be able to receive your salary, a "Burgerservicenummer" (Citizen service number) to pay taxes, and we would also recommend you to learn Dutch in order to get a job more easily.
