International business with an agricultural outlook

In the world of business and agriculture, food industry and agribusiness go hand in hand. They are also core concepts of the Bachelor of Agribusiness and Business Administration (BBA). This study programme was developed to meet the need for graduates who can back up their technical product knowledge with marketing skills. If you can picture yourself working in the bustling agribusiness industry full of intense exchanges, loud negotiations and on-the-spot decision-making, then this study programme is the right fit for you! The programme blends courses in business and marketing with specific food and agricultural knowledge. You learn how to manage a business and acquire the essential knowledge of products, inside as well as outside of the classroom, nationally and internationally.

Agricultural chains are at the heart of this  Bachelor of Agribusiness and Business Administration (BBA) programme. You get an insight into the entire production and supply chain, from producer to consumer, and all the stages in between: trade, management and consultancy activities of businesses involved in horticulture and food chains. As an agribusiness manager, you will know that special attention has to be paid to the marketing and quality management of products and, perhaps most importantly, the sustainability of agricultural chains. As the scale of the global economy increases, organising and regulating international trade becomes increasingly complex - especially in the food and agricultural sectors, where major changes are now taking place. This is a fascinating sector, where you consistently have to ensure the best possible match between products and target groups.

With a diploma in agribusiness in your pocket, you will be able to choose from numerous career opportunities at home and abroad. You can choose to speciailise in the following professional fields:
