VHL University of Applied Sciences participates in several student exchange programmes, such as the Erasmus+ Programme, Science Without Borders, or Branetec. Regardless of which exchange programme you choose, studying abroad is a great opportunity for you to experience what it is like to study at a university outside your home country, to immerse yourself into a new culture and to expand your horizons.

As an exchange student, you remain enrolled at your home institution. You can decide to spend half a year or a full academic year at VHL, depending on your exchange programme. The study credits you obtain at VHL can be transferred to your own programme through ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System points).

If you have questions about our exchange programmes, the available modules and the corresponding procedures, please have a look at our website or send an e-mail to We hope to be able to welcome you soon as an exchange student at VHL University of Applied Sciences!
