Training European Funding Opportunities

Last week the training ’Successful Exploitation of European Funding Opportunities’ took place at VHL University of Applied Sciences (VHL). 50 participants of 11 Dutch universities of applied sciences gained practical know-how of finding and creating the right partnerships for a European research project and to develop a successful proposal.

The day was offered by VHL on behalf of UAS10 members, initiated by the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences. The training was given by Nikolaos Floratos, an EU funding expert and Horizon 2020 consultant with more than 19 years of experience in the area including financial management and auditing, proposal development, project management, dissemination & exploitation of EU funded projects. During the day it was discussed why you cannot afford to fail in European funding through the habits of successful organisations and with the recipe to successful proposal writing.
