We are keeping a close eye on coronavirus developments. VHL always follows the recommendations from the RIVM, the government, the municipal health service, and other expert services. Simply put, we’re continuing our work behind the scenes!
The welfare of our students and staff is paramount. We use e-mails, news items, and an online Q&A on the internal MyHVHL portal to keep our students and staff updated on the measures that Van Hall Larenstein has implemented to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus. We can imagine that you — a potential student, parent/guardian of a prospective student, internship company, graduation assignment company, guest speaker, supplier, etc. — also have questions. We will try and answer them below.

Education will continue remotely as much as possible. It may mean that as a guest lecturer, you will have to teach remotely. If you have already been scheduled, please get in touch with your contact at the university of applied sciences for more information. Some lectures may have to be cancelled. The programme will contact you if that is the case.
Do you have an in-person meeting? Please check to see whether this is going ahead before you arrive. Most employees work from home, and most meetings have been changed to digital ones. Do you want to schedule a meeting? Please choose to have your meeting online or by telephone.
Are you a supplier of Van Hall Larenstein and want to deliver your shipment as agreed? That is still possible. The buildings in Velp and Leeuwarden are open during working days.
