‘These two very different internships definitely added to my experience and network’

Veronique is studying Equine Sports and Business in Velp. She did two internships and she likes to share with you what she learned from it.

'The two internships that are incorporated within the programme are a great way to put the theory into practice. The first was in the primary sector, so I dealt directly with horses. I travelled to Australia to work on two different horse ranches. The experience was great because I got to see how horses are managed in a different country.

My second internship was at Röwer & Rüb GmbH. This company is the world market leader in horse stable systems and also offers horse walkers as well as other steel structures for horse stables. I worked in the sales department and was able to get a taste of everyday life of a sales agent. I prepared offers, dealt with customer orders and participated in technical meetings with clients. It was a great opportunity to expand my network.’
