Thank you for your interest in our Online Business Fair Greentrepreneur 2020! At the moment, we are still hard at work behind the scenes. But at 5:00 PM CET on Friday 12 June, we will open our digital doors to you via this link!

You then have the possibility to look through the different projects and make yourself familiar with the great innovative ideas of the students from the study programmes Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, International Business in Food and Flowers, International Development Management as well as Management of the Living Environment.

The Greentrepreneur 2020 has two sections: the Online Business Fair for 2nd year students and an Innovation Market for 1st year students.

You want to know more about the projects and get to know the students?

We go live with all the students on Friday 19 June and then you have the possibility to meet the creative and innovative minds behind the projects. From 10:00 AM CET onwards, you will be more than welcome to join our online business fair Greentrepreneur 2020. You’ll be able to talk live to the students in their online booth and can get some more background information from them. Furthermore, we have a couple of guest speakers during the opening of the fair and the awarding ceremony to inspire you as well.

 

The programme is as follows:

10:00 – 10:30 AM Start of Online Business Fair during opening webinar 

  • 10:00 Opening remarks Jan van Iersel, President of the VHL University of Applied Sciences (VHL) Executive Board
  • 10:10 Ted-talk on Spotting and Fostering Startups  Loet Rammelsberg, Director of StartLife Wageningen                        

10.30 AM -13.30 PM Live chat sessions with students in their booth

Visit the project booths and obtain information about everything related to the innovative start-up ideas. Discover more background information during live chat sessions with the students.

13:30 – 14:30  PM Awarding Ceremony during closing webinar

  • 13:30 Ted Talk on Innovation Technologies: Changing the Lives of Animals  Ge Backus, Director, Connecting Agri & Food
  • 14:00 Awarding Ceremony for the three jury prizes for the 2nd year students
